I always find it very helpful when people give specifics about fit so here it is:

I am 5'4 and 109 lbs. I normally wear xs tops or size 2 in dresses. The xs fit slightly loose at the waist and was quite loose in the chest and shoulders. I work out quite a bit and the arms were a little tight.

After I shrunk it in the wash, the waist was perfect, shoulders and chest are still a little loose but it looks nice anyway. The arms at the band are definitely tighter than I like. So be careful if you have some arm muscle. I didn't think my arms were that big but the arm bands are really quite tight on me. Still wearable. (Posted on 1/12/11)

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and fit of this dress. I'm usually between a 2 and a 4 in dresses and the small fit perfectly. The band around the waist is nice and snug while still leaving some room in the chest. I love that it's modest without sacrificing style. Looks like a cute vintage dress. I purchased it in midnight blue which looks like a dark gray online but the color is more accurately a darker teal, which is fine with me. I like that actual color better! (Posted on 2/1/10)
